Meet Dr. Annette Cserna
Creating beautiful smiles and improving her patients’ self-esteem is just a couple of the reasons why Dr. Cserna practices orthodontics. She has a deep and genuine interest in providing high quality orthodontic care with an attention to detail for every one of her patients. Dr. Cserna has an excellent team who are experienced and who are committed to providing her patients the results that they deserve.
Education
Dr. Cserna is a 1982 graduate of Fresno State where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. After obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry she went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She then practiced general dentistry in rural Nebraska and taught at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry for several years. Dr. Cserna returned to the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry to earn her certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 1996 as well as a Master’s of Science degree in Oral Biology.
Continuing Education
Dr. Cserna takes at least 20-30 continuing education hours yearly, learning new skills that will benefit her patients and provide more effective and efficient treatments for everyone. She has participated in a regional study group of orthodontists who use the Damon System and has been a Damon user since 1992. Dr. Cserna is also an Invisalign Premier Provider and completes numerous hours of training to achieve this status.

Outside the Office
Dr. Cserna and her husband Mike have two boys. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and traveling.
